As decided by government of India , now onwards providing bio-metric features i.e., finger prints and eye-mapping would be mandatory for all visa applicants before they enter India. Therefore, after having completed the on line submission of visa, applicant has to visit consulate in person to provide bio-metric features with effect from 01.03.2014. Applicant may visit our site http://indianvisaonline.gov.in/visa click on the online application link OR online visa applicant registration, select the Indian Mission Switzerland(Geneva) and fill up the form. Applicant must upload the scanned photograph of 5cm x 5cm also.
Please note down the temporary Applicant ID Number (15 Characters) Consisting of numbers and alphabets, which will be displayed immediately on the government of India Visa Online Application Form. This will help applicant to save the partially filled.
Applicant may visit our website http://www.pmindiaun.org, to find the details of visa Fees to be paid in CCP No. 12-10232-9 in favour of Consulate General of India, Geneva. Applicant may also online transfer the amount in this account.
Signed Visa application, with fee deposit proof and two coloured photos of 5cm x 5cm size,one pasted and one attached, may be submitted by the applicant, in person to the Counter of Consulate General of India, Geneva; between 0915 to 1230 hrs where his/her bio-metric features would also be captured which is mandatory.
Applicant will be given a token number, giving the date when the visa will be delivered. On the given date, visa maybe collected from 1700 to 1800 hrs from the counter of the Counsulate.
